Sunday, January 12, 2014: Henry Doktorski presented a lecture/recital for the Sunday Afternoon Music Series at the Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The event, held at the Quiet Reading Room in the Main Library at 4400 Forbes Avenue, began at 2 p.m. The Sunday Afternoon Music Series, now in its eighth year, occurs every second Sunday of the month and features local musicians of various styles.

Doktorski talked about the accordion and performed a wide variety of pieces on the instrument, including:

    Johannes Brahms: Hungarian Dance No. 5
    Franz Schubert: Ave Maria
    Traditional Polish: Clarinet Polka
    Astor Piazzolla: Oblivion
    Vittorio Monti: Czardas
    Henry Doktorski: Theme and Variation on Richard Rodgers' Edelweiss
    Guido Deiro: My Florence Waltz and Deiro Rag
    Pietro Deiro: Celestina Polka
Rita Botts, the Curator for the Sunday Afternoon Music Series at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, wrote, "Thanks, Henry. You brought a great crowd and we loved your performance!"
