Henry Performs Beethoven and Piazzolla

Henry performs Astor Piazzolla’s Oblivion and Libertango at Trinity Episcopal Church.

October 22, 2023: Henry performed on organ and accordion, along with a dozen other organists and musicians, during a concert at Trinity Episcopal Church in Escondido, California, hosted by the American Guild of Organists Palomar Chapter.

Henry said, “It’s such a privilege, and a joy for me, as a member of the Palomar Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, to perform in the chapter’s annual scholarship fundraiser recital. Concert organizer David Lewis specifically requested I bring my accordion and play two pieces by Astor Piazzolla, the ballad Oblivion and the tango Libertango, with accompaniment by Adam Ferrara on the church’s 22-rank three-manual and pedal Reuter organ (1974) supplemented with Rodgers’ digital stops (2005). I also got to hear a lot of superb music!”
